About

My name is Hope Booth. For the past eight years, I have been a devoted primary school teacher. Now, I am stepping out of the classroom.

Since completing my BA degree in English and Key Stage 2/3 Education, I have worked full time in two primary school in the NW England after a very long, gruelling three months in a high school as a supply teacher.

Within my role as a teacher, I have worked in Year 4 (two years), Year 5 (five years) and Year 6 (one year). I have also taken on subject leadership roles for History and Geography respectively, the School Council for too many years, and the more prestigious title of Creative Curriculum Lead. This essentially means that I oversee History, Geography, Art and D.T. at the same time, without the honour of a TLR.

I am currently transitioning out of the classroom and into a new world of resource writing. Well, not a completely new world. This has been the bread and butter of teaching for a very long time. But it is one of the aspects of education that I love the most. Now, I want to give it my all.

I will be sharing resources that I have used myself in the classroom, or have asked colleagues to give them a whirl and share their feedback.
